Today Jason and I went down to Corsicana for a shower thrown by Tracy (a friend of Jason's from high school), Brenda (Jason's mom's best friend) and Cheryl (Karla's sister in law). Of course, Jason had to have Taco Shop for lunch so we had to get down there early so he could eat 4 bean burritos. Its a delicacy in Corsicana and once you've had them, you are hooked. Anyways, the shower was lots of fun. Baby Scoggins got lots of great things like a bathtub, bouncer, lots of cute burb cloths, onesies, diapers, bottle warmer, and lots of other great things that are going to be so useful once Baby Boy gets here. Jason and I are so blessed to have such great friends and family. Our baby is going to welcomed into such a great family.

The past two weekends I have had two great showers. Last weekend, my Aunt Carmen, Aunt Julia and cousin Rose threw me a shower in Chico (my mom's hometown). It was fun to see family. We took Louie out for his first trip to Chico. He had a blast and was a "country dog" for the weekend. He got to run off a leash, play in the mud and the rain, sleep outside and just be a good ol dog. He did great and never chased a car or any cattle. Lots of fun for Louie. Jason went and played golf with my uncles and cousins so you know he was a happy boy. I also got to drive my mom's new car which was so much fun. My first time to drive a standard car and I didn't stall it once. I can't wait to drive it again.

Hockey Enemies!
My mom got free tickets to go see the Blues play the Stars last night. The Blues have been doing so great and the Stars not so great. The Blues still have a chance to make the playoffs and the Stars have been eliminated. I thought this would be a great time to watch the Blues stomp on the Stars. Mom and I even made a sign that said "Stars suck pucks". We never had a chance to bring it out because the game was so close. The Stars ended up winning 5-4 in overtime, but we did have a great time. Here are some pictures from last night. Jason was the lone Stars fan in our group. The baby will be a Blues fan and a Cowboys fan. I can't have him wearing any Stars gear.
